len is guaranteed to lie in [1, PAGE_SIZE]. If scnprintf is called with a buffer size of 1, it is guaranteed to return 0. So in the extremely unlikely case of having just one byte remaining in the page, let's just call scnprintf anyway. The only difference is that this will write a '\0' to that final byte in the page, but that's an improvement: We now guarantee that after the call, buf is a properly terminated C string of length exactly the return value. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
