This reverts the following commits:8537f78647("netfilter: Introduce egress hook")5418d3881e("netfilter: Generalize ingress hook")b030f194ae("netfilter: Rename ingress hook include file") >From the discussion in [0], the author's main motivation to add a hook in fast path is for an out of tree kernel module, which is a red flag to begin with. Other mentioned potential use cases like NAT{64,46} is on future extensions w/o concrete code in the tree yet. Revert as suggested [1] given the weak justification to add more hooks to critical fast-path. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
