"This contains two major new drivers:
- imagination is a first driver for Imagination Technologies devices,
it only covers very specific devices, but there is hope to grow it
- xe is a reboot of the i915 GPU (shares display) side using a more
upstream focused development model, and trying to maximise code
sharing. It's not enabled for any hw by default, and will hopefully
get switched on for Intel's Lunarlake.
This also drops a bunch of the old UMS ioctls. It's been dead long
enough.
amdgpu has a bunch of new color management code that is being used in
the Steam Deck.
amdgpu also has a new ACPI WBRF interaction to help avoid radio
interference.
Otherwise it's the usual lots of changes in lots of places.

Pull SoC driver updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"A new drivers/cache/ subsystem is added to contain drivers for
abstracting cache flush methods on riscv and potentially others, as
this is needed for handling non-coherent DMA but several SoCs require
nonstandard hardware methods for it.
op-tee gains support for asynchronous notification with FF-A, as well
as support for a system thread for executing in secure world.
The tee, reset, bus, memory and scmi subsystems have a couple of minor
updates.
Platform specific soc driver changes include:
- Samsung Exynos gains driver support for Google GS101 (Tensor G1)
across multiple subsystems
- Qualcomm Snapdragon gains support for SM8650 and X1E along with
added features for some other SoCs
- Mediatek adds support for "Smart Voltage Scaling" on MT8186 and

When typec_altmode_put_partner is called by a plug altmode upon release,
the port altmode the plug belongs to will not remove its reference to the
plug. The check to see if the altmode being released is a plug evaluates
against the released altmode's partner instead of the calling altmode, so
change adev in typec_altmode_put_partner to properly refer to the altmode
being released.
Because typec_altmode_set_partner calls get_device() on the port altmode,
add partner_adev that points to the port altmode in typec_put_partner to
call put_device() on. typec_altmode_set_partner is not called for port
altmodes, so add a check in typec_altmode_release to prevent
typec_altmode_put_partner() calls on port altmode release.

Refactor tcpm_fw_get_caps to support the multiple pd capabilities got
from fwnode. For backward compatibility, the original single capability
is still applicable. The fetched data is stored in the newly defined
structure "pd_data" and there is an array "pd_list" to store the
pointers to them. A dedicated array "pds" is used to store the handles
of the registered usb_power_delivery instances.
Also implement the .pd_get and .pd_set ops which are introduced in
commit a7cff92f06 ("usb: typec: USB Power Delivery helpers for ports
and partners"). Once the .pd_set is called, the current capability will
be updated and state machine will re-negotiate the power contract if
possible.

The TPS6598x PD controller supports firmware updates that can be loaded
either from an external flash memory or a host using the device's I2C
host interface. This patch implements the second approach, which is
especially relevant if no flash memory is available.
In order to make patch bundle updates, a series of tasks (special
commands) must be sent to the device as it is documented in the
TPS65987DDH and TPS65988DH Host Interface Technical Reference Manual[1],
section 4.11 (Patch Bundle Update Tasks).
The update sequence is as follows:
1. PTCs - Start Patch Load Sequence: the proposed approach includes
device and application configuration data.
2. PTCd - Patch Download: 64-byte data chunks must be sent until the end
of the firmware file is reached (the last chunk may be shorter).
3. PTCc - Patch Data Transfer Complete: ends the patch loading sequence.
After this sequence and if no errors occurred, the device will change
its mode to 'APP' after SETUP_MS milliseconds, and then it will be ready
for normal operation.

The input data passed to execute commands with tps6598x_exec_cmd()
is not supposed to be modified by the function. Moreover, this data is
passed to tps6598x_exec_cmd_tmo() and finally to tps6598x_block_write(),
which expects a const pointer.
The current implementation does not produce any bugs, but it discards
const qualifiers from the pointers passed as arguments. This leads to
compile issues if 'discarded-qualifiers' is active and a const pointer
is passed to the function, which is the case if data from a firmware
structure is passed to execute update commands. Adding the const
modifier to in_data prevents such issues and provides code consistency.

The current implementation includes a number of special cases for the
tps25750. Nevertheless, init and reset functions can be generalized by
adding function pointers to the tipd_data structure in order to offer
that functionality to other parts without additional conditional
clauses.
Some functionality like the cold reset request (GAID) is shared by the
tps25750 and the tps6598x, so they can use the same reset function.

Qualcomm driver updates for v6.8
Support for SM8650 and X1E is added to the LLCC driver, the
LLCC_TRP_ATTR2_CFGn register stride is corrected, and a bug where for
each iteration looping over slices previous settings for dis_cap_alloc
and retain_on_pc are overwritten.
A quirk is introduced in UCSI, for implementations that does not handle
UCSI_GET_PDOS for non-PD partners. With this, USCI support is enabled by
default in pmic_glink. It is later reverted for SC8280XP due reported
errors.
A few memory leaks in error paths of qseecom are taken care of.
A small driver to expose the ADSP PDCharger ULOG debug log is
introduced, to aid debugging issues with pmic_glink.
The identiy of SM8650, PM8937 and a few DSPs are added to the Qualcomm
socinfo driver.
The Qualcomm sleep stats driver is extended to allow getting detailed
statistics about usage of various DDR states. Unfortunately this ABI
does not seem to be stable across platforms, so this addition is dropped
again while the reported problems are investigated further.

Qualcomm WCD9390/WCD9395 is a standalone Hi-Fi audio codec IC with a
functionally separate USB SubSystem for Altmode/Analog Audio Switch
accessible over an I2C interface.
It provides switching USB-C USB2.0 lines between USB and Audio Headphones
speaker lines, and the USB-C SBU lines between DisplayPort AUX and Audio
Headphones Microphone/Ground.
The Audio Headphone and Microphone data path between the Codec and the
USB-C Mux subsystems are external to the IC, thus requiring DT
port-endpoint graph description to handle USB-C altmode & orientation
switching for Audio Accessory Mode.

adev in typec_altmode_put_partner to properly refer to the altmode being
released.
typec_altmode_set_partner is not run for port altmodes, so also add a check
in typec_altmode_release to prevent typec_altmode_put_partner() calls on
port altmode release.

"Here is the "big" set of USB and Thunderbolt changes for 6.7-rc1.
Nothing really major in here, just lots of constant development for
new hardware. Included in here are:
- Thunderbolt (i.e. USB4) fixes for reported issues and support for
new hardware types and devices
- USB typec additions of new drivers and cleanups for some existing
ones
- xhci cleanups and expanded tracing support and some platform
specific updates
- USB "La Jolla Cove Adapter (LJCA)" support added, and the gpio,
spi, and i2c drivers for that type of device (all acked by the
respective subsystem maintainers.)
- lots of USB gadget driver updates and cleanups
- new USB dwc3 platforms supported, as well as other dwc3 fixes and
cleanups

All of these have been in the linux-next tree for a while with no

On some hardware designs the AUX+/- lanes are connected reversed to
SBU1/2 compared to the expected design by FSA4480.
Made more complicated, the otherwise compatible Orient-Chip OCP96011
expects the lanes to be connected reversed compared to FSA4480.
* FSA4480 block diagram shows AUX+ connected to SBU2 and AUX- to SBU1.
* OCP96011 block diagram shows AUX+ connected to SBU1 and AUX- to SBU2.
So if OCP96011 is used as drop-in for FSA4480 then the orientation
handling in the driver needs to be reversed to match the expectation of
the OCP96011 hardware.
Support parsing the data-lanes parameter in the endpoint node to swap
this in the driver.
The parse_data_lanes_mapping function is mostly taken from nb7vpq904m.c.

Adding functions that USB hub code can use to inform the
Type-C class about connected USB devices.
Once taken into use, it will allow the Type-C port drivers
to power off components that are not needed, for example if
USB2 device is enumerated, everything that is only relevant
for USB3 (retimers, etc.), can be powered off.
This will also create a symlink "typec" for the USB devices
pointing to the USB Type-C partner device.

On some OEM systems, adding a W7900 dGPU triggers RAS errors and hangs
at a black screen on startup. This issue occurs only if `ucsi_acpi` has
loaded before `amdgpu` has loaded. The reason for this failure is that
`amdgpu` uses power_supply_is_system_supplied() to determine if running
on AC or DC power at startup. If this value is reported incorrectly the
dGPU will also be programmed incorrectly and trigger errors.
power_supply_is_system_supplied() reports the wrong value because UCSI
power supplies provided as part of the system don't properly report the
scope as "DEVICE" scope (not powering the system).
In order to fix this issue check the capabilities reported from the UCSI
power supply to ensure that it supports charging a battery and that it can
be powered by AC. Mark the scope accordingly.
